Design and develop advanced power distribution systems for the maritime industry!
As the Engineer Electrical Power Systems, you'll design and specify complex power distribution systems and ensure compliance with all standards and regulations. Work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders.
Your work includes
- Designing LV power distributors, emergency switchboards, and lighting distributions based on specifications;
- Developing the basic design and functional specifications for power plants;
- Incorporating synchronizing devices, load-sharing devices, protection devices, transformers, UPS systems, and various regulators into designs;
- Performing various electrical calculations;
- Ensuring designs comply with the standards, the classifications societies, and other relevant regulations;
- Submitting designs for review by inspection;
What you need
- You have a degree in electrical engineering;
- You have experience as an electrical engineer;
- You have a strong affinity with the maritime industry;
- You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in the English language;
- You are able to work independently and collaboratively;
- You are allowed to work in the Netherlands, either due to EU-citizenship or an already valid work-visa;
