Engineer Shipbuilding

As an Engineer Shipbuilding, you have a key role in the responsibility of the entire ship's design.
The Engineer Shipbuilding works in a multi-disciplinary team. You will be responsible for the creation of designs, the specifications, the drawings, and the calculations of weight and stability. All of it needs to be within the regular standards.
Your tasks are
- To create and check the designs, specifications, drawings, weight- and stability calculations within the regular standards;
- To produce the part- and order lists and to prepare technical specifications for purchase orders and planning;
- To support the Class and National Authorities approval process;
- To register and achieve designs, drawings, and project-related information;
- To register, monitor, and identify the hours spent on engineering work;
- To monitor your own quality and to strive for a zero-defects output;
You
- Have a bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture or in Marine Engineering;
- Have 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience;
- Have experience with software packages like AutoCAD;
- Have quality consciousness
- Have planning- and organizational skills
- Have a good command of the English language, both verbally and written
