Engineering Project Manager

This Engineering Project Manager loves to be involved in complex issues around detail engineering.
The Engineering Project Manager is responsible for the overall engineering phase during the construction. You lead the team from sales to completion, and customer requirements are translated into a manufacturable design.
Your tasks are
- To work closely with the project team and to ensure all connections, interfaces, and interactions with other parts of the project;
- To operationally lead the multidisciplinary team to improve the productivity and the revenues;
- To deliver complex engineering requirements within the set customer values and quality standards, and to do so within the schedule and budget, and to prioritize these appropriately;
- To coordinate and monitor agreements between all the parties involved;
- To be the final responsibility for engineering project progress control, project content, preconditions for the construction, subcontracting, and/or further detail engineering;
- To give a clear and proper handover to the Phase Managers.
You have
- A bachelor's or master's degree in shipbuilding and leadership experience within the ship- or yacht-building industry;
- Experience with working on big projects, including budgeting, and with emphasis on delivering projects within a set schedule, budget, and with high quality;
- The capability to act as a sparring partner, analyse the client's expectations, and take actions proactively, which generates project improvements;
- Natural leading capabilities;
- An excellent command of the English language
