Junior Naval Architect

The Junior Naval Architect works on complex projects; they are responsible for preparing technical specifications and draft designs, different types of calculations and they are completely involved in the full conceptual and basic designs of various ships. 

Your work includes:

• Creating conceptual and basic designs;
• Developing technical specifications;
• Performing calculations for stability, speed-power/resistance, weight management, and hydro-structural analyses;
• Creating 2D and 3D models;
• Conducting inclining tests and deadweight surveys;
• Performing onboard laser scans for digital modeling;
• Providing consulting and engineering services throughout all project phases. 
• Collaborating with other specialists to solve complex challenges;

You

• Have a minimum of 0 to 2 years of working experience;
• Know concept and basic design;
• Like diversity in projects;
• Are organizational and see details;
• Are open to learning and are continually known about the newest developments in the field;
• Are eligible to work in Europe and (if needed) willing to relocate to The Netherlands
