Junior PME Shipbuilding

This experienced engineer is ready to become a Project Manager Engineer.
Responsible for the engineering process and output within their discipline, this Junior PME will manage an engineering team and -partners. Their goal is to ensure a smooth building process in which the building yard has all the needed information and approvals.
Your tasks are
- To manage an engineering team in the 4 phases
- Design check, basic engineering, detailed engineering, and production support
- To give technical support on projects when asked for or when needed;
- To manage budget, planning, quality and risks;
- To maintain contact with the client and ensure that all required approvals are attained;
- To manage the integration of (purchased) equipment and systems;
- To implement work processes, organize review moments, prepare status reports, and organize document and configuration control;
- To ensure a good working environment and team spirit
You have
- A Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Naval Architecture;
- At least 5 years of experience in engineering in maritime engineering;
- The ambition to become a Project Manager Engineering;
- A good command of the English language;
- Experience with AutoCAD and Nupas-Cadmatic;
- The willingness to travel up to 2 times a year;
- The ability to put things into perspective and to be an influence;
