(Junior) Project Manager Design – Construction

Be active during the design and development of yachts!
The (Junior) Project Manager Design is part of the multidisciplinary team that realize yachts. Active in both early stages, like the initial design, as well as during the development, you have a vital role within the team.
Your tasks includes
- Reviewing and performing global and local construction strength calculations;
- Coordinating subcontracted design work;
- Managing progress and reviewing design information;
- Developing and managing drawings with subcontractors;
- Transferring the gained knowledge to the project team;
- Monitoring and aligning the internal and external expertise;
- Being up-to-date with developments;
You
- Have a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in construction engineering or naval architecture or something similar;
- Have 5-7 years of experience in the maritime industry;
- Have an eye for details but also a helicopter view, seeing the bigger picture;
- Are anticipating, responsible, pro-active, problem-solving, and a team player;
- Are familiar with applicable law, rules and regulations, certification and classification procedures, guidelines, and yard standards;
- Are fluent in the English language, both written and spoken;
- Are eligible to work in the Netherlands
