Lead Engineer Piping

The lead engineer piping leads their assigned team and reports to the Engineering coordinator. Taking up this role means you're an important part of the team that realizes yachts and does so in close co-makersship with the partners.
Your tasks are
- To review and discuss the project development information and work demarcation during the pre-building process;
- To monitor the quality of the engineering work;
- To ensure the correct interfacing and integration of all data with other disciplines;
- To ensure correct plan drawings and technical specifications in compliance with the building specification and other applicable standards, rules, regulations, and design codes;
- To review and approve engineering completeness and documentation;
- To initiate the correct measurements to solve upcoming/expected complex technical issues;
- To monitor the follow-ups to ensure the required output;
- To lead, develop, and motivate your assigned team;
- To organize your work and achieve goals within planning.
You
- Have a relevant technical bachelor's degree or a secondary vocational education with relevant work experience in piping;
- Have a minimum of 5 years experience within the maritime industry and/or in the yacht building industry;
- Have in-depth experience in piping;
- Have a proactive and problem-solving approach;
- Are analytical, persuasive, result-oriented, passionate, and a team player;
- Are familiar with Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD, and/or Rhinoceros;
- Are fluent in the English language, both written and spoken.
