As the Manager Engineering, you clearly envision the future department. You know your ways to optimize systems and maximize innovations. You are the force behind all developments and lead and inspire your multidisciplinary team daily.
Your tasks include:

Leading a multidisciplinary engineering team, optimizing the team’s capabilities;

Coaching and mentoring team members;

Fostering the development of technical solutions;

Shaping and implementing strategies for the Engineering department;

Optimizing systems, tools, and workflows;
-
Overseeing the organizational framework;

Ensuring recourses are located effectively;

Developing and executing strategies;

Ensuring resource management;
-
Driving continuous improvements in processes, systems, and tools;
You
- Have a bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture or in mechanical engineering;
- Have a minimum of 10 years of experience within shipbuilding, a few of those are in a managing or leading position;
- Have experience with developing and optimizing engineering processes and systems;
- Have experience with project management and planning;
- Are analytical and strategic;
- Are a team player;
- Are fluent in the English language;
- Are eligible to work in the Netherlands;
