Oversee designs from concept to production and ensure they meet strict standards!
As the Mechanical Engineering Specialist, you’ll join a dedicated team designing and overseeing mechanical systems for naval ships and yachts, ensuring quality, innovation, and compliance with strict standards.
Your work includes
- Creating basic and detailed mechanical designs;
- Ensuring the execution and verification of strength calculations, shock calculations, and mechanical short-cut calculations;
- Advising colleagues and clients on setting up mechanical constructions;
- Selecting materials and preparing the material lists;
- Supervising the production process;
- Conducting site visits to approve your own designs;
- Overseeing the assembly process;
- Ensuring designs are properly implemented during the construction;
- Ensuring that designs meet the high standards required;
- Taking maintenance requirements into account when designing products.
You
- Have a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or something related;
- Have a technical background;
- Have 2 or more years of experience in engineering mechanical structures;
- Have knowledge of Autodesk Inventor and/or Autodesk Vault Professional
- Are analytical, creative, quality-oriented, and communicative;
- Are easily adapt standards and client requirements in mechanical design;
- Are fluent in the English language
- Are eligible to work in the Netherlands;
