Sr. Naval Architecture Engineer

You built super yachts with their own specific characteristics and challenges.

The Naval Architecture Engineer is jointly responsible for monitoring the shipbuilding design and reviewing it for quality and feasibility. Every superyacht built is translated into manufacturable detail drawings, has its own characteristics, and meets the client's requirements. 

 

Your responsibilities are

  • Reviewing the yacht-building design for quality and technical feasibility;
  • Being the point of contact for design issues;
  • Giving input in solving technical challenges in the design;
  • Ensuring a consistent approach to technical design;
  • Reviewing and ensuring that all requirements meet the prevailing construction principles;
  • Monitoring the Engineering Process and providing advice when needed;
  • Assisting, advising, and thinking along with the creation of dock plans;
  • Reporting to the Lead Naval Architecture Engineer. 

 

You have

  • A Bachelor's degree in the field of Shipbuilding;
  • Significant experience within the ship– or yacht-building industry;
    • Preferably with experience as a Navel Architecture Engineer;
  • Experience with design and engineering processes;
  • Knowledge of the production process of (super) yachts;
  • An excellent command of the English language;
