The project engineer mechanical and shipbuilding works on creating luxury yachts with a multidisciplinary team. From general arrangements to technical space arrangements and layout drawings to detailed designs of various components. As the project engineer mechanical and shipbuilding, you are in the middle of challenging projects!
Your work includes
- Working together with various project managers and other engineers;
- Ensuring information is processed correctly in AutoCAD or Rhino, among others;
- Preparing production, outfitting, and arrangement drawings for various components;
- Making detailed mounting drawings for every kind of exterior item;
- Detailedly arranging and designing exterior components;
What you need
- You have a bachelor in Shipbuilding or Mechanical Engineering;
- You have at least 5 years of experience in shipbuilding and/or in yacht building;
- You fluently speak and write in the English language;
- If you have experience with Autocad, Rhino, and/or with Cadmatic Outfitting, this is a plus;
- You take the initiative at work and are familiar with processing information correctly.
