Project Manager Engineering Yachtbuilding

Monitor the entire process of superyacht realization.
As the Project Manager Engineering Yachtbuilding, you're working closely with the other members of the (multidisciplinary) project team. With your leadership, all the clients' wishes are translated in designs and built into reality. During this entire process, you're monitoring the planning, progress, budget, quality, efficiency, and the safety of your team, of the designs, and the yacht.
Your tasks are
- Ensuring compliance with specifications, both internal and external
- Being responsible for the multidisciplinary integration of a project;
- Reporting to the overall Project Manager;
- Interacting directly with the Owner's team and aligning project objectives with their expectations;
- Negotiating requirements and providing project updates to the Owner's team;
- Aligning with Production Managers;
- Collaborating with the Lead Engineer;
- Consulting, coordinating, and agreeing on designs within the assigned project teams;
- Managing subcontractors;
- Formally coordinating and exchanging information with external contacts;
- Reviewing engineering output with Production and collecting feedback.
What do you need?
- You hold a bachelor's or a master's degree;
- You have experience in a similar position within the shipbuilding or yacht building industry;
- You have experience with design and engineering processes
- You have an excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken;
- You have experience with working on large projects;
- You are a great sparring partner;
- You are proactive and quality-oriented;
- You are eligible to work in The Netherlands.
