The Senior Mechanical Engineering Engineer works with the interior, construction, exterior, and special engineering and advises their expertise in the mechanical aspects to make sure all regulations and quality requirements are completed for the yachts.
Your work includes
- Specifying, standardizing, and thinking about the cost-efficient and space-efficient applications of mechanical engineering systems;
- Guiding co-builders with the implementations;
- Giving technical advice;
- Making technical assessments;
- Providing support to the Lead Engineer and the Project Manager Engineering;
- Identifying technical problems and providing possible solutions;
- Being involved in the induction of new colleagues;
- Improving the quality standards and building knowledge and innovation within the field;
You
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering;
- Have a few years of experience with construction processes in ship and yacht building;
- Have knowledge of production techniques;
- Are computer literate with CAD drawing programs, NX, Team Centre, or similar;
- Are customer and service-oriented and constantly thinking about how to do things smarter and better;
- Are excellent in the English language, both written and spoken.
